  • No experience or skills needed
  • We can provide sticks, gumshields and shin pads
  • Everyone welcome.

About us

Our junior section is one of the largest in the North and we are proud to be an England Hockey Talent Centre, which means our juniors benefit from the highest standards of training and development. As part of this we support our highest potential juniors with our Individual Performance Programme (IDP) with dedicated training and tailored development plans.

At last count, we had juniors from over 20 local schools – state and independent – and we believe in making hockey accessible to kids from all backgrounds.

Our juniors have a strong presence within country and performance-level hockey and we enter teams at all levels of regional youth hockey and the England Hockey Cup.

How much is it for annual membership?

We're currently reviewing our rates for the 25/26 season. Last season's membership was:

· MUGA (our 'hockey nursery' typical ages 5-8) - £80
· U10, U12, U14, U16s, £160

You can choose to either pay this in full or spread the cost over a payment plan.

The membership fee includes all training sessions, access to professional coaching and entry into the Yorkshire Youth Hockey League tournaments with your child’s team. We can continue to lend sticks until you feel ready to invest in your own.

When do the juniors train

U8's (MUGA) 09:00 - 10:00 Sunday mornings
U10's & U12's 09:00 - 10:30 Sunday mornings
U14's 17:45 - 19:15 Monday evenings
U16 girls 19:15 - 20:30 Monday evenings (plus 'boost' session 3rd Friday every month 19.00-20.00)
