The latest COVID-19 Guidance from Paul Houghton - Covid Officer

From the Covid Officer:

This week we have had a club member seriously ill and admitted to hospital with Covid.

Infection rates and hospitalisations are increasing.

While you’re no longer required by law to self-isolate if you have COVID-19, you should still stay at home and avoid contact with other people. This helps reduce the chance of passing COVID-19 on to others - this is still Government Guidance and will not be reviewed until April.

If you have Covid please do not attend the club / games at all until you are testing negative with LFT on at least day 5 & 6.

If you have symptoms then please get tested before coming.

If you know that you have been a close contact of someone who has had Covid please take a test and consider not coming into any indoor areas of the club.

This should help keep everyone safe as no one wants to be responsible for anyone else getting seriously ill or worse.

Thank you all for thinking of each other,

Paul Houghton
Covid Officer
WHC
