Our U18 squads competed in the North East round of the Indoor National Cup today. The girls played Sheffield and Ben Rhydding and were worthy winners in both games playing exciting, quick and direct indoor hockey. This means they have secured their place at the National Finals in January.

The boys had a strong start with wins against Rotherham and Sheffield displaying some fantastic team play mixed in with some individual brilliance. They then had to beat Doncaster in a winner-takes-all match-up. Unfortunately, the team were unable to secure the victory, coming up against a strong Doncaster team.

Both teams can be extremely proud of their efforts and the hockey they have played. Thank you to parents and club members who came to support today as well as the coaching teams. Good luck in January to the girls!
