Wakefield Hockey Club’s U18s girls have recently competed in two National Competitions.

Outdoors, the girls qualified for the semi-final at Old Loughtonians (Chigwell), of the England Hockey Plate Competition,

beating, over the course of the season, Alderley Edge and Lichfield.

This year’s Summer Splash will be our 17th Anniversary. This year has been a very successful year as a club, and we want celebrate that fact by inviting you and the rest of the hockey family to celebrate and socialise with us. We hope this year will be our best and for that we are offering you more playing time than ever before.

RUSH HOCKEY TO CONTINUE AT WAKEFIELD!!

Rush Hockey is the new game that is sweeping the nation! A bigger ball, smaller nets, smaller teams and simplified rules. Simple and safe enough for complete beginners, and different enough to the conventional game for elite level players to join in and be challenged too!

Open to men, women, beginners, former players and current players! Please feel free to bring a friend, family member or work colleague along.

It will RE-START at Wakefield HC on Wednesday 22nd MAY and will run until early July (depending on attendance), from 6.45-8pm. Cost is just £3 each per session.
