2. Joining Wakefield HC Senior Section


New Seniors always welcome

Throughout the season, we offer FREE sessions to all new starters - giving you time to make their mind up about joining.

  • Training sessions with coaches
  • No experience or skills needed
  • Everyone welcome.

About us

Our senior section has 5 mens and 5 ladies teams playing on Saturday, levels varying from National League to Yorkshire Leagues…a level for everyone!

How much is it to play at Wakefield Hockey Club?

Our Membership fee for the 25/26 season are:

Senior Membership £135.00
Students (16+) £80.00
Asscoiate £50.00
Back 2 Hockey £50.00
Non Playing £30.00

***You can choose to either pay this in full or spread the cost over a payment plan.

Match fees for the 25/26 season are:

Senior Hockey £13.50 (this also includes your training session during the week)

When do the seniors train

Mens
Performance Training (1st & 2nd Teams)
Tuesdays – 7:30pm to 8:45pm
Thursdays – 8:15pm to 10:00pm

Club Training - Wednesdays
7:30pm to 8:45pm - 5th Team
8:45pm to 10:00pm – 3rd & 4th Teams

Ladies
Performance Training (1st & 2nd Teams)
Tuesdays – 8:45pm to 10:00pm
Thursdays – 6:30pm to 8:15pm

Club Training - Wednesdays
6:15pm to 7:30pm – Ladies 3rd & Ladies 5th Teams
7:30pm to 8:45pm – Ladies 4th Team
